B:Conte Ariake is Tokyo's newest serviced residence player

7 Jun 2009

B:Conte Ariake, developed by Japanese serviced residence specialist Space Design, opens on June 25, adding to an increasingly congested sector in Tokyo.

Located near the shops of Odaiba and Tokyo Big Site leisure zone of Tokyo Bay, the new property joins the company's portfolio of serviced apartments in strategic areas around the city, including Ginza, Shinegawa and Nihombashi.

Nine categories of fully furnished studios and suites that come with a kitchen, laundry room and expected amenities of a home are available. Other services will be charged such as housekeeping, concierge, courier, medical assistance and limousine transfers. Onsite facilities include a convenience store, business centre, café and bar, restaurant, gym and parking.

In recent years, international operators have been slowly entering the Japanese market, long dominated by a slew of local brands. Oakwood pioneered the movement into Japan, and now has eight properties in Tokyo. Ascott International followed with its Somerset Azabu East and Somerset Roppongi, and recently, Citadines Shinjuku Tokyo. Up and coming player Fraser Hospitality also arrived with the launch of Fraser Place Shinjuku.

From now till September, B:Conte Ariake is offering a range of introductory rates depending on the length of stay. For package details, visit www.bconte.com/ariake/en/room/campaign.html
