Alright you lot, what do you drive?

Rental, business, home, fun etc. I know this got touched on a little in other threads. Most of you have such high standards when it comes to flying esp in First and how some airlines First are Business class to other airlines. It would be quite interesting to know purely on the basis of the standards stretch to driving 😉

    Me…

Just fallen in love with the T5 POD.

Just a perfect mode of transport. Would love to have one parked outside my house, ready to take me anywhere. Guess the neighbours will be annoyed with all the track needed.

    Other than the POD –

    Fiat 500 – (band A)

FDOS, I flew a PA32-301 RG over the Atlantic to CSE aviation in 1980. I trusted the aircraft after it had only a few hours on the tacho (well the senior pilot did!!)

I recently found a letter in my mothers papers written by my Father to British Embassy in Bonn, dated July 1990. My Father was asking to be allowed to fly his Saratoga along the Berlin Air corridor, transiting the East German zone. Despite his 7000 hours flying experience + IR, the Civil Air Attache could not permit the flight until after unification. Sadly, my Father became ill, shortly afterwards.

I have many happy flying hours in a Piper Saratogo, a very good choice FDOS.
