Passengers with a little time to spare at Hong Kong International Airport will soon be able to watch movies at the UA IMAX cinema at the landside of Terminal 2 on Level 6, making it the world’s first IMAX cinema at an airport.
The theatre, scheduled to open in the second quarter of this year, will feature just one screen with a seating capacity for up to 358 viewers. The cinema will run from 1100 until 2100.
Since there is just one screen, the cinema will run one movie at a time, which will include 2D and 3D blockbusters.
