Carlson, the hospitality and travel group, is to plant 19 new properties in India before year-end, furthering its Ambition 2015 masterplan.

The future additions, which fall under its four brands – Radisson, Country Inns and Suites, Park Inn and Park Plaza – will bring Carlson's portfolio in the subcontinent to a total of 50 properties. There are a planned 11 Radissons, two City Inns and Suites, five Park Plazas and one Park Inn in key hubs.

The upscale Radisson properties will be located in Rudrapur, Agra, Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Ghaziabad, Goa, Noida, Haridwar, Hyderabad and Ranchi. The City Inns will be located in Gurgaon and Mussoorie; two Park Plazas in New Delhi and the remaining three in Bangalore, Chandigarh and Coimbatore; while Park Inn will open in New Delhi’s CBD.

Following the goals of Ambition 2015, Carlson intends to grow by 50 percent globally, while tripling its portfolio by 2015 in the robust Asia-Pacific market with 65 new hotels to reach to the 100th mark.
