BA Openskies codeshares with AA

7 Dec 2011 by BusinessTraveller
BA’s subsidiary Openskies has announced a new codeshare agreement with American Airlines, ahead of the carrier joining the BA / Iberia / AA transatlantic joint business agreement on January 1. The move means customers travelling on Openskies’ route between Paris Orly and New York Newark can now purchase single tickets when connecting to / from AA services at Dallas/Fort Worth, Chicago, Los Angeles and Miami, as well as benefit from through-checking of baggage on these flights. Openskies recently dropped its route between Paris Orly and Washington DC (see online news October 6), leaving its Paris-New York service as the sole Openskies route.
