Hilton Worldwide has opened the first property under its new lifestyle Canopy by Hilton brand.
Canopy Reykjavik is housed across six connected buildings in the Icelandic capital’s city centre, and features rooms “styled in shades of ocean and volcanic rock”.
Facilities at the 115-room hotel include a rooftop bar and restaurant, a bistro, free wifi and complimentary guest use of bikes.
There are currently 20 Canopy properties in development, with recent announcements including Canopy London City and Canopy Washington DC.
The brand has also this week confirmed plans for the 153-room Canopy by Hilton Portland Pearl District, which is scheduled to open in 2017.
