Malaysia Airlines (MAB) is offering a flash sale for business class fares to coincide with Ramadan (starting next month).
A time when Muslims around the world engage in prayer, fasting and religious devotion, Ramadan is typically a low travel season in Malaysia where over 60 per cent of the population practices Islam.
The sale, which lasts until tomorrow, is valid for travel until June 30. Business class fares start from as low as RM780 (US$191) for flights from Kuala Lumpur to Medan.
The promotion also extends to the airline’s long-haul flights, with fares to Auckland starting at RM7,150 (US$1,755) and those to London priced at RM9,440 (US$2,317) and up. Meanwhile, fares for the Kuala Lumpur–Sydney route, which features the airline’s new business class seat (see here), start at RM6,345 (US$1,557).
