Four Seasons is to open its second Japanese property later this year, with the Four Seasons Hotel Kyoto now accepting reservations from October 15.
The 123-room hotel is located in the temple district of the city, and features a spa with indoor swimming pool, and four dining options including an “exclusive sushi restaurant”, a brasserie, lounge and garden tea house.
The development will also offer 57 residences, and will be set in five acres of ponds and gardens.
Meeting options include a 366 sqm ballroom, and a chapel inspired by “gently swaying bamboo”.
The new Kyoto property will join the existing Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Marunouchi.
