Wyndham Worldwide is revamping its Wyndham Rewards programme, introducing new Member Levels and a raft of new benefits.
The changes come into effect on May 18, although members can already log on and find out what tier they have attained.
Entry level is now known as Blue, with benefits including free wifi, while Gold also entitles members to late check-outs and a dedicated member services contact.
Platinum offers all the benefits above, plus early check-ins, a 3,000 annual points bonus and an Avis car rental upgrade, and Diamond membership includes a 6,000 annual points bonus, suite upgrades, welcome amenities, and the ability to give a Gold card to a friend or family member.
Gold level is attained after five nights, Platinum after 15 nights, and Diamond after 40 nights. A full list of benefits for each level can be seen here.
The programme has also added a new “Plus” element to its Go Free and Go Fast redemption options.
Go Free allows members to redeem a flat rate of 15,000 Wyndham Rewards points for one free night at any participating Wyndham property worldwide, while Go Fast enables members to redeem 3,000 points plus a cash top up against stays.
The new Go Free Plus and Go Fast Plus benefits entitle members to an extra experienced-based reward when redeeming at any of the group’s top 25 destinations. This reward increases with membership levels – from a US$5 voucher for a local experience as a Blue member, up to two free tickets for a Diamond member.
