The largest Marriott-branded hotel in Europe has opened its doors in Madrid.
The 869-room Madrid Marriott Auditorium Hotel & Conference Centre is a rebrand of the former Hotel Auditorium Madrid, and is located close to Madrid-Barajas Airport. Having undergone an extensive renovation effort, the hotel now features an entirely new design.
Most notable about the new property are its huge MICE facilities - the conference centre offers 15,500 sqm of event space including an auditorium that can accommodate up to 2,000 guests.
Naturally, the Marriott’s Meetings Imagine programme is available, which supports the work of event coordinators and meeting planners.
Within the hotel all rooms are equipped with well-appointed amenities including spacious work desks and Nespresso coffee machines, while complimentary wifi is available throughout. Guests can also take advantage of the hotel’s free airport shuttle service and mobile check-in service.
F&B options consist of the Champions Bar, which provides an American sports bar concept; Kalma that serves Mediterranean à la carte dining; Greatroom, the hotel’s designated all-day dining restaurant; and Atrium Bar, which offers drinks and light bites. Other facilities include indoor and outdoor pools, a sauna, solarium, tennis courts and a fitness centre.
