Hilton Worldwide will open a new hotel at Amsterdam Schiphol airport this week.
The 433-room Hilton Amsterdam Airport Schiphol replaces the existing hotel, which dates back to 1972 and will now be demolished.
Built around a 42-metre high central atrium, the new property is directly accessible from the airport terminal.

All rooms come with 40-inch HDTVs and free wifi. Executive rooms on the tenth and 11th floors have access to the Executive Lounge with complimentary breakfast and refreshments throughout the day.
Axis is the lounge and cocktail bar at the heart of the atrium, offering snacks and light bites, with the bar specialising in gin and Dutch jenevers. Bowery restaurant serves international and Asian cuisine and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
There is also a spa with four treatment rooms, sauna and steam room, and 24-hour fitness centre.

A conference centre on the first and second floors has 23 meeting rooms and a ballroom with capacity for up to 640 delegates. An app allows event organisers and marketers to communicate with speakers and attendees before and during their event.
Rates start at €219 on December 17 for a King Guest Room with atrium view.
Hilton HHonors members can earn double points when staying at the hotel before February 29.
