Doubletree by Hilton has opened its first hotel in Liverpool.
The Doubletree by Hilton Hotel & Spa Liverpool is in the recently restored Municipal Annexe building, with original construction that dates back to 1865.
The property is centrally located with the historic docks, Cavern Quarter and Business District all a short walk away.
It contains 87 rooms and suites, all of which offer free wifi. Of these, six suites have a separate living area and pull-out sofa, while a presidential suite features a walk-in wardrobe and wet room.
Other amenities include multi–Michelin star chef Jean Christophe Novelli's only UK restaurant, the Jean Christophe Novelli at Michelle. The 130-seat dining venue has a French brassiere menu that also services the lounge, conference rooms and banquet areas.
Facilities also include a spa, pool, fitness centre, 24-hour business centre, meeting rooms and bar area.
It is worth noting that for the first three months following the opening, HHonors members will have the opportunity to earn double points for their stay and diamond members will receive a free upgrade.
The property was originally intended to open in the summer of 2013 (see news, August 2012).
