Intercontinental Hotel Group has debuted its Hotel Indigo brand in south-east Asia.
Hotel Indigo Bangkok Wireless Road contains 192 guestrooms with "spa-inspired" bathrooms, private balconies and complimentary wifi.
The boutique property has an open-air infinity swimming pool and deck that overlooks the city.
Its two food and beverage outlets will be joined by a third later this year.
Currently open are Metro on Wireless, serving Thai and Western cuisine, and the 22 Steps cocktail bar. The brand's signature dining venue, Char, will open shortly.
IHG CCO Alan Watts said: "Demand for boutique hotels continues to grow rapidly amongst travellers with an interest in art, design and local exploration. They are looking for unique and individual hotel experiences combined with exceptional facilities, dining and great service.
"This is exactly what Hotel Indigo provides - all the style and flair of a boutique hotel with the reassurance and quality that a leading hotel group can offer."
IHG recently announced it will open Singapore's first Hotel Indigo property in 2016 (see news, October 2014).
