Icelandair will add a sixth weekly service between Reykjavik and London Gatwick this summer.
From June 6, the airline will add a Saturday flight between the two destinations — it currently flies six-times weekly, on each day except Wednesday, but will remove the winter Saturday service at the start of the summer season.
The carrier said it is increasing capacity on its UK routes by 17 per cent this UK, including the launch of a twice-weekly service to Birmingham on February 5 (see news, May 2014).
Icelandair also operates a twice-daily service to Reykjavik from Heathrow, four weekly flights from Manchester and five weekly from Glasgow.
The carrier will operate out of London Heathrow Terminal 2 from March 25 (see news, January 16).
