Some 300 hospitality industry friends and colleagues gathered at the Diamond Ballroom of The Westin Bund Center last night to pay tribute to airlines, hotels and destinations that Business Traveller China readers have voted as the best of the best in the 2014 Reader Poll.
The awards presentation ceremony and dinner was serenaded by the vocal styling of celebrated veteran singer Joe Junior from Hong Kong, who kicked off his performance with the catchy tune of Pretty Woman.
The trophies were presented to the winners by Julian Gregory, managing director of Panacea Publishing, and Chung To, founder of Chi Heng Foundation. Again this year, Business Traveller China is helping Chi Heng raise funds to support its work in aiding children and youngers impacted by HIV/AIDS in rural China through charity sale at the evening's event and the annual Charity Auction (see more information here).
