Qatar Airways (QR) is expanding its codeshare partnership with fellow Oneworld member Japan Airlines (JAL).
This will see five domestic services added to the current codeshare agreement of three international services from Doha to Japan, plus six domestic routes.
With this partnership upgrade, the Gulf carrier will now be able to offer passengers onward connections to a total of eleven cities in Japan, all through one QR airline booking code.
The additional routes all depart from Tokyo Haneda International Airport, which Qatar Airways launched a new service to last week (see here), with destinations including Osaka, New Chitose, Fukuoka, Okinawa, and Nagoya.
