Elite tier members of the Ritz-Carlton Rewards loyalty programme can earn double night credits throughout 2014.
The promotion allows Elite members to receive two Elite night credits for each eligible stay at a participating Ritz-Carlton hotel until December 31.
The offer is retroactive to January 1, 2014, meaning eligible stays made by Elite members earlier in the year have already qualified for double night credits. These are automatically applied to members' accounts.
A statment said: "This new benefit offers members an accelerated journey to maintaining their current Elite status or achieving a higher level. [It] applies to each stay during 2014, including those that members have already made."
Nights spent while redeeming an award, or as a member of the Marriott Rewards programme, are not eligible for Elite night credit.
