Delta Airlines has launched a new daily non-stop service between Seattle and Seoul.
The route is the carrier’s fourth non-stop service from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport announced over the last year, which now includes flights to London-Heathrow (reviews here), Shanghai-Pudong and Tokyo-Haneda.
“The Seattle market is geographically positioned to optimally connect traffic to all of our Asia destinations, which are the leading commercial centers in the region," said Mike Medeiros, Delta’s vice president – Seattle.
The flights to Seoul will be operated using a Boeing 767-300ER aircraft with 35 seats in business elite, 32 in economy comfort and 153 in economy class.
Delta flight 199 departs Seattle at noon daily and arrives in Seoul-Incheon at 1530 the following day. The return leg sees flight 198 depart from Seoul at 1720 before touching back down in Seattle-Tacoma at 1205 the same day.
The carrier will also launch a non-stop service to Hong Kong later next month (see here).
