China Southern will begin flying to Frankfurt from Guangzhou via Changsha three times a week starting from June 20.
The Chinese cities will be linked by an A330-200 with four classes-four first class seats arranged in 1-2-1 configuration; 24 business class seats in 2-2-2 configuration; and, 48 premium economy seats and 142 economy seats arranged in 2-4-2.
The outbound service departs Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 2130, touching down at Changsha Huanghua International Airport at 2245, leaving again at 2355 and arriving at Frankfurt Airport at 0600 local time. The return leg takes off on every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 1415. It arrives at Changsha at 0645, and departs at 0800 before touching down in Guangzhou at 0915 local time.
The airline will also launch its first direct flight to New York in August (see here).
