Accor has opened an Ibis Styles hotel in Liverpool, the budget brand’s first property in the north-west.
The 123-bedroom Ibis Styles Liverpool Dale St Hotel is located in the centre of the city.
Features include free wifi, a flatscreen TV and all-you-can-eat breakfast.
The property’s reception area, each of its seven floors and every guestroom are designed to pay homage to “a particular era in Liverpool’s musical history”.
Thomas Dubaere, managing director Accor UK and Ireland, said: “We are delighted to bring the new Ibis Styles to Liverpool as we know we are offering something truly unique to the budget hotel sector in the city.
“Ibis Styles hotels have their own personality, they are cheerful and upbeat with a little touch of humour.”
He added: “Within one year we have added new destinations to the network with openings in Birmingham, Blackpool, London and now Liverpool.
“We have ambitious plans to grow the Ibis Styles hotel network in the UK with the next hotel due to open in Edinburgh later this year.”
Last month, it was announced that Le Club Accorhotels loyalty members can earn quintuple points when staying at one of the brand’s participating hotels this year. (see news, January 30).
