Carlson Rezidor has opened its seventh hotel in Turkey.
The Radisson Blu Hotel, Istanbul Pera - the company's fourth property in Istanbul alone - is located in the city's ancient Pera Taksim district and overlooks the Golden Horn.
It has 130 rooms, decorated in a "Bohemian, old Istanbul style", and seven meeting rooms that can cater for up to 130 guests.
The property also features an à la carte terrace restaurant and an all-day dining restautant with an open kitchen on the ground floor.
Among the other facilities are a cardio-gym, indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, massage, sauna and a steam bath.
In May, Business Traveller reported on a £10 million refurbishment project taking place at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Manchester Airport (see online news, May 31).
The hotel, which originally opened in 1998, is being completely overhauled in three phases. The first, and largest, phase is already underway and will be completed this year.
