Marriott Rewards has made its Elite Rollover Nights benefit a permanent part of the loyalty programme.
The benefit allows members to roll over nights earned in excess of the minimum Elite requirements, and apply them to the following year’s status.
For example Gold status requires 50 nights per year, so if a member earns 60 nights then ten of these will be carried over to the following year’s qualification.
Rollover nights expire after one calendar year, and note that they can only be used to renew at the member’s current level or to achieve a higher level – so if a member downgrades to a lower status the following year there would be no rollover nights applied.
Marriott Rewards has been offering the Elite Rollover Nights benefit as a promotion for some time, but has now made it a permanent part of the programme – full details can be seen on the FAQ page here.
