SilverNeedle Hospitality, an "integrated hospitality investment, development and management company" boasting brands that are well known mainly in the Australia and New Zealand markets, has added the SilverNeedle Collection to its portfolio.
The new grouping joins the ever-growing circle of accommodation providers, targeting travellers who prefer boutique properties and are used to exacting service standards. Iqbal Jumabhoy, the company's managing director and group chief executive, said hotel members would spare no effort to deliver, among other benefits, “authentic destination experiences, optimum sleep and shower experiences and seamless communication and concierge services”.

Furthermore, this new venture allows the company to expand to Asia, starting with 137 Pillars House in Chiang Mai, Riva Surya in Bangkok and Kiridara Luang Prabang, about 425 km north of the Laotian capital of Vientiane. The first phase of growth aims to achieve 15 hotels by 2016, according to Jumabhoy.
