Accor is debuting its ibis Styles brand in Kuala Lumpur with the opening of two new hotels – ibis Styles Kuala Lumpur Fraser Business Park and ibis Styles Kuala Lumpur Cheras – this month.
ibis Styles is the new name of the "all seasons" brand, one of the changes subsequent to Accor’s revamp of its economy brands, which begun last year (see story here). The ibis Styles brand features "premium economy" design-inspired hotels, offering "all inclusive" packages, which consist of a room, all-you-can-eat food and broadband internet access.
The 156-room ibis Styles Kuala Lumpur Cheras opened on October 1. It is located in Cheras, a suburb about 8 kilometres (15 minutes drive) south of the city centre that is home to large numbers of light industrial companies. It will be close to the mixed-use Cheras Eco Business Park, which is under development.

The hotel is about 30 minutes' drive from Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
The 500-room ibis Styles Kuala Lumpur Fraser Business Park will open on October 25. The hotel is located in a new commercial and leisure complex very close to the centre of the city. The hotel has direct access to the Chan Sow Lin Light Rail Transit (LRT) Station, making it easy to travel to the city’s central business district.
The hotel has four meeting rooms and gym facilities.
