Four Seasons Beijing soft opening this month

7 Sep 2012

Four Season Beijing has announced its soft opening on September 28, and has begun accepting reservations for arrivals from October 29 onwards.

The 313-room property, which is Four Seasons’ first in Beijing, is located in the Liangmahe area of the central business district and is close to the Third Diplomatic Precinct in northeastern Chaoyang – at the epicentre of the city’s business and entertainment area. It is about 20 minutes from Beijing Capitol Airport.

Room inventory includes 46-sqm deluxe (pictured), premier and club rooms, 59-sqm Four Seasons Rooms and 96-sqm Beijing Suites, 114-sqm Chairman Suites and a 730-sqm Imperial Suite. All rooms offer free wifi, espresso machines, signature Four Seasons’ Bed and views of the city or Chaoyang Park. Express pressing and shoeshine services are also available.

There is a total of 3,250 sqm of event space, which includes a 900-sqm pillarless Imperial Ballroom (pictured) which can accommodate more than 600 people for business events. An additional ballroom and ten breakout rooms are also available.

There is also a 24-hour business centre on the third floor with boardroom, and club rooms will have acces to the 26th-floor executive club lounge, which has its own meeting facilities, work stations and translation services on hand.

The Chinese restaurant Cai Yi Xuan also offers eight very exclusive private dining rooms – including two with secluded VIP seating areas, ideal for entertaining top clients. Other F&B offerings include Italian restaurant Mio and the sixth floor tea garden (pictured below).

Other facilities include the spa, which will provide a combination of traditional Chinese and rejuvenating treatments performed in 11 pavilions, and a 20-metre sun-lit indoor pool with whirlpool, plus a 24-hour gym.

There will also be 210 fully-appointed Four Seasons Private Apartments, which allows residents full access to hotel facilities and services, as well as their own indoor swimming pool and fitness centre, a dedicated 24-hour doorman and concierge, private boardrooms and children’s activity room.

This is the third Four Seasons hotel to open in China this year, following the summer openings of Four Seasons Hotel Guangzhou and Four Seasons Hotel Pudong, Shanghai (see story here).  The brand’s growing portfolio in the country already includes Four Seasons Hotel Shanghai, Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong, Four Seasons Hotel Macao Cotai Strip and Four Seasons Hotel Hangzhou at West Lake.
