Mongkok, as well as the neighbouring district of Yau Ma Tai, is a great area to look at the local culture of the city, but in the evenings, the streets can be very crowded and become overwhelming to the uninitiated. There are two tours every Monday to Saturday, except public holidays. The Mongkok Market Tour at 6pm goes to Sai Yeung Choi Street, where there are many shops selling electronics as well as local fashion brands, and the famous Ladies' Market for bargain hunting.
