Oasia joins Far East Hospitality's portfolio

8 Aug 2011

Far East Hospitality has expanded its portfolio with the new hotel brand, Oasia which was soft launched in Singapore in April.

Oasia, which takes its name from the phrase “oasis in Asia”, promises to bring guests “the best of Asian hospitality" by focusing on “three key values – thoughtfulness, respect and care”. It plans to open officially, with all guest rooms complete, by the end of this month.

The flagship 428-room property, located in Singapore’s Novena district and next to the Novena Specialst Centre (NSC), is styled by renowned design firm, Super Potato, which conceptualised the unique glass façade and high-ceilinged lobby intertwined with greenery and dark woods. About 222sqm of meeting space and four F&B outlets serving Japanese, Chinese, Italian and international cuisine are available.

Oasia also offers an "oasis" of tranquillity and well-being on the eighth floor, where the gym and outdoor pool are located ringed by bamboo gardens for guests to unwind.

Out of the 428 rooms, 104 belong to the executive category. Club guests have exclusive access to a 24-hour lounge, the Living Room, and their own swimming pool on the 22nd floor. They also receive complimentary wifi internet access.

Being adjacent to a medical hub, provisions have been made for linkage between the two buildings. The hotel has also been equipped a 24-hour around the clock medical helpline.

Promotional opening rates start at S$220 (US$180) per night in a superior room for stays between now and October 31, 2011.
