Accor has opened the first property under its upscale Pullman brand in Brazil, a 350-room hotel in Sao Paulo’s Ibirapuera Park district.

Pullman São Paulo Ibirapuera is located close to the city’s Art Museum and the site of the Sao Paulo Art Biennal, and features rooms starting from 30sqm, two floors of meeting rooms, the living-room style “Chill out Space”, Pateo restaurant serving international dishes including Brazilian speciality feijoada, an outdoor pool, fitness centre and spa facilities.

The group has also announced its goal of opening Pullman properties “ in all of Latin America’s major cities over the next few years”, with the Brazilian city of Belo Horizonte set to benefit from a 280-room Pullman hotel.

Elsewhere the brand will debut in the Netherlands (Eindhoven), Indonesia (Bali and Jakarta), New Zealand (Auckland), Vietnam (Hanoi) and India (Gurgaon) before the end of this year, as well as opening four new properties in China.
