Nobu plans first branded hotel in Las Vegas

8 Mar 2011 by BusinessTraveller

Upmarket Japanese restaurant chain Nobu intends to open its first branded hotel concept, the 180-room Nobu Hotel, Restaurant and Lounge within the 85-acre Ceasars Palace complex in Las Vegas.

Nobu Hospitality has signed a “non-binding letter of intent” to develop the hotel within the Centurion Tower at Caesars Palace, located on the Las Vegas Strip.

If the plans go ahead the 180-room hotel will feature a 900sqm Nobu restaurant and lounge at the base of the redeveloped tower, as well as 16 suites and a penthouse, with all rooms benefitting from room service from the Nobu culinary team.

Commenting on the announcement Gary Selesner, president of Caesars Palace said:

“Nobu's distinctive brand will bring a new dimension to Caesars Palace and will be designed to attract first-time visitors. The re-branded hotel tower, restaurant and lounge will offer an experience unlike anything in Las Vegas, pairing exclusive accommodations with a resort famed for world-class entertainment, shopping and leisure experiences.”
