The regional carrier will operate a weekly service from its Exeter base to the capital of Germany’s North Rhine-Westphalia region.
The flights represent the first direct route from Exeter airport to Germany, with the service operating on Saturdays between April 23 and September 24, 2011. Flights depart Dusseldorf at 1010, arriving in Exeter at 1050, before departing for Germany at 1115 and arriving at 1355.
Tickets are now on sale, with lead-in fares starting from £39.99 one-way.
Hilton Worldwide recently announced it is to open a 160-room Hampton by Hilton property at Exeter International airport next year (see online news September 23).
