Parkroyal Serviced Suites poised for Kuala Lumpur debut

11 Aug 2010

Parkroyal Serviced Suites debuts in Kuala Lumpur on October 11 this year within the Golden Triangle, a popular shopping and dining catchment area. It is the first serviced residence offered by the brand belonging to the Pan Pacific Hotel Group.

Sister chain Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts has two serviced residence products, the Pan Pacific Serviced Suites in Singapore and Bangkok (see news).

The new property consists of 287 studio suites with either one or two bedrooms. All feature fully-equipped kitchens, home entertainment systems, telephone systems with IDD and voice mail services and wireless internet access. The building itself also has a business centre with secretarial services and meeting rooms. Leisure requirements are answered with a fitness centre, a Residents’ Lounge and a rooftop pool.

Pre-opening offers include a Studio Superior (56qm) from RM380 (US$120) for three nights or less and from RM330 (US$104) for longer stays. Breakfast for one and free internet access are part of the deal.

Parkroyal follows the footsteps of Fraser Hospitality, which also entered Kuala Lumpur in June with the launch Fraser Place (click here). CEO Choe Sum Peng told Business Traveller then they would be opening a second Frasers Residence in the city in 2012.
