Centara Grand Mirage Beach Resort Pattaya, which bills itself as a theme hotel, will officially open on November 3, 2009. The hotel features 555 rooms and suites and the Mirage Grand Ballroom with a capacity of 1,200 persons.


From now till December 26, 2009, Kuala Lumpur’s heritagel hotel, Carcosa Seri Negara, is offering visitors one last to chance experience it before closing for redevelopment. Packages start from MYR900 (US$260) for a two-night accommodation in a Junior Suite.

The Majestic Malacca has upgraded its conference facilities and now offers wireless broadband access at three meeting rooms. Function rooms are more versatile and can be reconfigured into a boardroom or classroom setting as well as turn into dinner venues for of up to 100 people.
