Travellers flying on Dragonair can now use their smartphones to check their flight status, review their bookings and even bone up on information about their destination on the site's "City Guides" section.
The airline has recently upgraded its backend systems that enables its KA Mobile service to be accessed by passengers using different smartphone platforms such as BlackBerry and other Windows-based devices (including the latest Nokia and Sony Ericsson models).
Previously, the KA Mobile service only worked with iPhone devices.
To use the service, Dragonair customers have to install the KA Mobile software into their iPhones and smartphone devices. iPhone users can download the application from the iTunes store, while smartphone users download it from m.dragonair.com.
Alternatively, the software can be downloaded to a PC through www.dragonair.com (under "Manage Your Trip>Mobile Services") and an installation SMS will be sent to the airline's customers.
