169 The number of rooms at the first Holiday Inn Express in Taiwan. The hotel is due to open in August in Taichung, the country’s third-largest city. Holiday Inn will be the city’s first global hotel brand.
83.2 The average load factor on Germanwings flights during March 2008. The budget carrier says it carried 582,372 passengers during March.
34 The number of new destinations introduced by Flybe in its summer 2008 schedule. The figure includes two new Loganair routes from Dundee to Birmingham and Belfast, the result of a franchise agreement signed earlier this year.
Six The number of hotels now part of Hilton’s Waldorf Astoria Collection. The latest to join the exclusive club is the Rome Cavalieri, set in a 15-acre park overlooking the city centre.
One The amount in pounds for a room at London’s Hoxton Urban Lodge during its sale. The hotel will offer 1,000 rooms for a nominal charge (500 at £1 and 500 at £29) from midday today (April 11).
Zero The charge for wifi internet access at properties within the Hand Picked Hotels chain. The group is now offering free access in the public areas of its 17 hotels in the UK and Jersey.
