Last year, Business Traveller reported on the inconvenient timings of certain Air France routes out of London City (LCY). Slot constraints at the airport meant that Air France had not been able to negotiate really convenient business timings for its City Jet services to Switzerland.
These shortcomings will be remedied from May 5 when Air France adds a further daily flight to both Geneva and Zurich. The extra flight will provide a better spread of departures throughout the day.
The summer schedule also sees improvements to flight times to Edinburgh, while Air France will reinstate its second daily service to Paris CDG, which will operate alongside the carrier’s existing six-flights-a-day link to Paris ORY.
