I’m connecting through HKG from LHR en route to Auckland and curious to know which lounge to visit for a 4 hour stopover. Flying BA First LHR / HKG and Business HKG / AKL. I’m a BA Gold Card holder so assume that I can use Cathay’s First class lounges.

Any thoughts / suggestions appreciated.

Yes, head straight to the Wing – by Gate 2, departure level. First class lounge is one of the world’s best to spend a few hours.

I have visited Wing F lounge multiple times in last year. Its very good.

+ Proper cabana (waaay better than BA CCR @LHR) for bath/shower and clothes press

+ Real restaurant with small but high quality buffet & a la carte

+ Proper servers who actually serve guests in the bar

+ Excellent ticketing/CS desk in lounge that is super-efficient

What more can one need?!
