Since January 2022 we have being reporting on start-up carrier Northern Pacific.

This Anchorage-based airline wants to emulate Icelandair by operating transpacific flights using its base as a hub (in the same way that Icelandair uses Reykjavik).

But not a single long-haul flight was ever operated.

Now comes news that, following a lawsuit from BNSF Railway (which holds the rights to the Northern Pacific name), the carrier is expecting to rebrand itself.
