Just a heads up to anyone flying from Bristol over the next 6 weeks or so, there are roadworks in Lulsgate Bottom (1/2 mile from the airport) that are causing long delays at times – it took me over an hour to do a mile last week from the north to the airport, at lunchtime.

When I came back yesterday afternoon (1530), the road was clear both ways, so it’s obviously variable.

Its a great airport but I generally avoid it due to the unreliability of the road network around.
