Plenty of franchise type activities but many are sub scale (trains, planes, Virgin Money etc) and I wonder how much profit it all delivers when everything is said and done.
The Galactica thing is a tragedy though. In the quest for higher, faster etc I suspect these things will always happen. Just like we all enjoy low risk travel by air following learning from things like the Comet disasters.
Tend to agree with SimonS1 and Transtraxman on this one. His businesses other than selling of the Virgin Brand just don’t make money. Too many failures littering the runway behind him.
