With the option of flying to Barbados from LHR or LGW with Virgin, which aircraft has the better on board product ?

Hi Bullfrog. I was unaware that VS were doing Barbados flights from LHR again this year. But the hard product depends on if the aircraft is an A330 200 or 300. If it is the 300 then you have the herringbone configuration facing away from the window, indeed you cannot really see out the window. Also the seat has to be switched from a seat to bed mode.
The 200 had the product from those aircrafts previous operators Air Berlin all seats having aisle access but facing forward and all refurbished since VS took them.

The 300 series has the bar I believe, but the 200 in my opinion has a far superior hard product…

So check if the aircraft code is 332 or 333 and then make the choice of what is more to your liking
