After 30 years, virgin Atlantic has decided to not resume flights between London and Hong Kong.

Whilst they only flew one flight a day, it does further reduce competition (allbeit I don’t expect significantly).

Nonetheless, virgin seem to be focussed on the US after its tie up with delta and so perhaps no surprise.
