    SNCF needs to focus more on its customers

    In the above post I referred to the closure of the main Franco-Italian line owing to a landslip.

    The closure could last for two months.

    It has now emerged that one of Trenitalia’s high-speed units has been stranded,

    According to what Trenitalia is saying it is sending a technical crew to France so that it will be able to maintain a limited Paris-Lyon schedule. The statement refers to a double-daily service.
