A new experience and not obnoxious kids in business class for a change. Just off LHR-SIN with SQ A380. Also a new benefit(!) of *A Gold. At boarding was called to desk and told very politely that there was a passenger with Tourette’s syndrome sitting behind the two of us. LHR SQ ground staff very apologetic that could not move us as plane full in all classes – it’s F1GP this weekend in Singapore
Ground told me that passenger had flown in with SQ and flight crew had noted that passenger had most problems when anxious. Interestingly enough no other passengers in the seat vicinity were informed so must assume *A gold factored in this
Main manifestations were at takeoff and landing with only sporadic outbursts during rest of flight. SQ FAs very attentive of passenger throughout flight regularly checking if they were OK. Would be interesting to know if other carriers FAs would have behaved similarly?
Can tell you it’s better than OKIBC anytime
