I’ve just noticed – and I don’t know how long this will last – that the TAM frequent flyer scheme will earn miles both on One World Carriers and the Star Alliance carriers. So for some people this might help people get status quicker than they might if they split alliances for travel. I haven’t had a proper look into it but at the moment if you have a TAM card you will earn miles on the below carriers – website seems to back this up as taken from the GDS.

Edited to add – I guess eventually only miles on One World will count – but might help those considering what scheme to join in the short term?
