Can’t just be me that has noticed that domestic baggage delivery at terminal 5 far exceeds normal waiting times/intl arrival bag delivery time? My flight tonight from BHD… first bag came off over 45mins after landing. I had 2 bags so waited an hour for both. Tagged ”priority”. Essentially almost as long as the flight. My 5th T5 domestic arrival this year and similar story each time – albeit tonight felt particularly long. I fly to LHR on these occasions due to convenience for cotswolds, but otherwise I pro-actively avoid T5 if I’m doing a domestic flight to london with checked bags.

In my experience this has been the norm for Terminal 5 domestic arrivals since the day the Terminal opened – this is one of the reasons so many people take so much on board.
