Yet another last minute transport strike in Germany.

This time its airport security staff striking at many airports with exception of Frankfurt and Munich.

Presumably all airlines using these airports will be affected.

Lufthansa is telling passengers not to come to these airports tomorrow.

The labor union Verdi has announced a strike by security personnel at the airports in Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne/Bonn, Stuttgart, and Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden for Thursday, March 14th. Access to the departure gates will therefore not be possible. 1/3

Just in: Security personnel will also be striking in Munich tomorrow (Thurs 14th) from 4 am till Friday at 6 am.

Then on Friday there’ll be strikes in Hannover, Dortmund, Weeze, Dresden & Leipzig.
