TheFrequentTravellerParticipantHi,
I wondered if anyone saw if a monthly winner was announced at seatplans.com last month? The site launched in October I think with the promise of picking a winning review each month for the best review – I haven’t seen this announced anywhere? Are they not really giving away prizes each month?
Thanks

Tom OtleyKeymasterHello,
Thanks for your question.
For the first month we are running the competition until the end of November (we had some technical problems to begin with and the prize didn’t go up at the beginning of October as we intended).
We will then draw and publish (on the website) the winning review, and the five runners-up. Then for December we will have more than one prize being offered, giving entrants the choice of which prize they would like to win.
Thank you for entering.

TheFrequentTravellerParticipantAre you still giving away prizes for the top review each month? It used to say what the prize was but it no longer shows.
Thanks

Seatplans.comMemberHi DarrenJ, thank you for raising this point about missing seatplans.
We often create airline pages without aircraft seatplans so that users may leave reviews. We then contact the airline and request the seating information. Unfortunately, in this instance we have yet to receive seating maps from Egyptair, but again this should not stop anyone from leaving a post-flight review.
However, we do not always rely on the airlines. If a member of our editorial team flies on an aircraft we can draw up seatplans from notes. We’re also more than happy to accept seating descriptions from our readers, as long as they are comprehensive.
Finally, the winner of the December Kempinski Adriatic prize has been picked and notified. We have just had confirmation that the prize is on its way, and are now ready to announce the winner on the Seatplans.com homepage.
