It was shear luck that a SAA flight out of Ghana that should never have been carrying passengers or even flying did not crash.
The incident was totally avoidable and points up once again the incompetence of SAA management and pilots promoted way beyond their competence and the corruption of the regulator who tried to hush-up the incident. The captain flying was involved in another serious incident recently which was caused by pilot error. Unbelievably he has since this incident been promoted.

The audio is about 6 minutes but if you fly in or out of SA it is a must listen.

It’s the usual nothing really bad or deadly happened did it? So just file 13 it and carry on as if nothing was issue.
