The Red Oak Chamber and Industry Association, Inc. (ROCIA) is a membership based association of businesses, professional leaders and individuals who work together to maintain a favorable business climate that will help the existing and new businesses to prosper. The Association’s mission is to contribute to a higher standard of living and quality of life for the citizens of the Red Oak Community. They maintain and promote a prosperous and vibrant business community to promote economic development and provide business retention services. A one-stop shop for economic development resources is provided by the ROCIA. ROCIA can provide help to any size business that is starting or expanding their business in Red Oak, Iowa, through its agencies and programs.

The association membership returns a big dividend through membership services, community programs, exposure to new markets and fellow business people. Member volunteers share in the publicity of getting things done for a better community as they are a part of the big picture. Red Oak Community tries to improve the quality of life. All the members are expected to participate and it is only through volunteer involvement that the Association is able to represent the voice of the business and professional community and convey its message loud and clear. The members hold the key to make things happen. Their ideas, inputs and actions are translated into results. The association provides protection and the members’ views are expressed through their education programs, news releases and speaker’s bureau.

Ali Sharaf, the owner of The Red Oak Town Village, has contributed immensely to the economy of the Red Oak.
