This was just a short flight (45 min) between Dubai and Doha. I was shown to my seat and offered a drink and newspaper. Menus were given out and an order for food and drink taken. This was served promptly after take off and cleared just a promptly. The seat was very comfortable. I did not try and sleep but I could see it would be great for sleeping. It was my first time on a 787 and I was amazed at the spaciousness of the cabin. My favourite seats are probably 1A or 1K but with a 1-2-1 configuration none are bad! There are two seats at the rear of the cabin by the bar area/toilet and not sure these would be the best. Overall great service, food, seat and plane and looking forward to trying it on a long haul flight.
